Woah！ This book took the boogeyman and made him desirable。 And then multiplied that 👻👻👻。 All the little things that came together？！ So good！ Definitely worth reading if you like monsters！

Monsters 🤤I’ve always loved villains and monsters in stories so naturally I was thirsty for this book when I saw it up for preorder。 The story was interesting and the plot didn’t fall flat or seem shallow with minimal details。 The plot progression was evenly paced without feeling rushed。 The concept of the world of boogeymen and its dynamic especially when related to the humans and their world was descriptive and made for an interesting read。 It was definitely unique and honestly a lot more than Monsters 🤤I’ve always loved villains and monsters in stories so naturally I was thirsty for this book when I saw it up for preorder。 The story was interesting and the plot didn’t fall flat or seem shallow with minimal details。 The plot progression was evenly paced without feeling rushed。 The concept of the world of boogeymen and its dynamic especially when related to the humans and their world was descriptive and made for an interesting read。 It was definitely unique and honestly a lot more than what I had expected。 MJ usually always has me laughing out loud with her books but this one didn’t have the same comedic tone as some of her others。 Not that I am complaining because I think the lack of comedy makes this story a little bit more on the eerie side which is perfect considering the time of year。 The characters are all unique with differing personalities that helps keep them from blending together。 And I love the good doctor 🤤😍 I was worried that the author would ultimately write him out of the series but I think she has something else planned that I am sure to love！！！ The steam is hot…I mean we get some monster c*** scenes 😈 This book wasn’t just some monster smut or porn， it had a good story line to it that has me intrigue and excited to read book 2。 。。。more

Love this book！ It’s so different than anything else i have read。 I love that they are Actual monsters that have inhuman body parts and love and posses in a way that humans just don’t。 I’m crossing my fingers for Mark （that ending was unexpected！） being able to step up and help save her。 Or Alexis saving herself。

I was given an ARC of this book with no obligation to write a review， but I couldn't help but give my honest review as I really loved this book！Alexis grew up knowing there were monsters under her bed。 At first， she was afraid of the shadowy bogeymen， but she soon came to trust them and they eventually became her friends。 Then， when she turned 18， there was an incident that caused her to leave home and run away from her monsters。 Now， 12 years later， she's home again and her monsters aren't lett I was given an ARC of this book with no obligation to write a review， but I couldn't help but give my honest review as I really loved this book！Alexis grew up knowing there were monsters under her bed。 At first， she was afraid of the shadowy bogeymen， but she soon came to trust them and they eventually became her friends。 Then， when she turned 18， there was an incident that caused her to leave home and run away from her monsters。 Now， 12 years later， she's home again and her monsters aren't letting her get away again。 Alexis is THEIR mate and they intend to claim her and breed her！This book was amazing！ M。J。 Marstens is a talented author and the story was so well written that I couldn't put it down！ Xhoshad （red eyed monster）， Nerazi （yellow eyed monster）， and Seriq （green eyed monster） had their own POV in the story， along with Alexis， and I just loved them！ Each monster was born of destructive human emotions， much like the beings in Pandora's Box。 Xhoshad is formed by coercion and is the leader of the group， Nerazi is greed and mischievousness （a nice combination， especially during smexxy times！）， and Seriq （my favorite。。。Ok， I love them all！） is possessive。 Think "MINE， MINE， MINE！！" I enjoyed the characters and the riveting plot。 And yes， the smexxy scenes with their long tongues。。。 nice。。。 long。。。 tongues。 And their。。。 um。。。 other huge body parts。。。 Nevertheless， it's not just smex。 This book is very descriptive with the monsters' world and quite exciting。 Oh， and there is a really "bad guy" and his army， who want to destroy them and take their mate for himself。 What happens next？ Read the story and see！ This story is awesome if you love monster romance and it's perfect if you are new to monster romance like I was。 The monsters are so endearing that you'll be looking under your bed and wishing for monsters of your own to be there！ Definitely recommend！ 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Thank you again MJ Marstens for giving me this ARC since I’ve been wanting to read this for awhile 😂😂 So， we have a woman name Alexis Stanton or Lexie who just flew back to the States from OZ to take care of her dad。 She hasn’t been back home due to an incident 12 years ago & immediately moved the heck out of America。 Suddenly， another family tragedy occurred and Lexie is trying to get her life kinda back together。 It doesn’t helped that her old highschool boyfriend Mark is there。 But while she Thank you again MJ Marstens for giving me this ARC since I’ve been wanting to read this for awhile 😂😂 So， we have a woman name Alexis Stanton or Lexie who just flew back to the States from OZ to take care of her dad。 She hasn’t been back home due to an incident 12 years ago & immediately moved the heck out of America。 Suddenly， another family tragedy occurred and Lexie is trying to get her life kinda back together。 It doesn’t helped that her old highschool boyfriend Mark is there。 But while she was getting stuff out of her old family home with Mark， she suddenly gets taken away through a portal。 And those who’ve taken her are the monsters that have been hiding under her bed since she was a teenager。 🥲 These 3 monsters are Nerazi （who has yellow eyes） Seriq （who has green eyes） and Zhosad （who has red eyes） 👀 I’m honestly still processing all of them but I was so mad at Nerazi for 5 min 😂 in one particular scene。 Overall， • the plot was 5/5• spice rating: 5/5 🥵🌶• plot twists: 4/5 👀 （I am still shooked by that ending） There were some things that could have been delivered better in some ways。 But it was a good start for the rest of the series 🥰💓 。。。more

When I first started reading this book I thought Alexis had every right to be scared of the monsters under her bed but then the story turned into a great love story。I thought this was a great read that was a hot and steamy and it does end on a cliffhanger。 I can’t wait for the next book！
